Omar Al-Qinneh
Computer Engineering Student & Aspiring Cloud Architect
Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering at Princess Sumaya University for Technology,
expected June 2029.
I am an aspiring Cloud Architect focused on designing scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure.
My core interests lie in cloud-native technologies, DevOps methodologies, and platform engineering.
This site serves as my hands-on portfolio to demonstrate my ability to bridge architectural theory with practical implementation using AWS, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code.

Projects
SimMate Private Repo
A high-fidelity flight simulator panel application. While the repository is closed-source, architecting this system was a foundational exercise in processing low-level data streams, handling complex event accumulators, and bridging hardware-level memory access with functional backend logic.
Krooka Archived Prototype
Developed for the Crown Prince Award. This was an architectural prototype for a civic workflow system similar to Saudi Arabia's Najm app, heavily focused on integrating third-party APIs for location tracking and ETAs and managing complex backend state.
The Cloud Resume Challenge Active
A full-stack, serverless web application. The static frontend is hosted on a private AWS S3 bucket and exposed securely via Amazon CloudFront using Origin Access Control (OAC). The backend features a serverless visitor counter utilizing AWS API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and DynamoDB. The entire cloud infrastructure is strictly defined, provisioned, and managed using Terraform to ensure reproducibility, scalability, and secure state management.
Leadership
I am an active applicant for the AWS Student Builder Group Leader role and the GitHub Campus Expert program.
Those applications reflect the direction I want to grow in: technical leadership, community building, and helping other students learn practical cloud and software skills.
